PWA211600
tool
PWA211600 is a precision-manufactured aerospace engine high-pressure turbine (HPT) rotor blade, compliant with AS9100D quality standards and FAA/EASA regulations, designed for large commercial turbofan engines. It is a core energy conversion component in the HPT, converting the thermal energy of high-temperature, high-pressure exhaust gas from the combustion chamber into rotational mechanical energy, which drives the HPC and other engine components, critical for ensuring the engine's core power output.
Made from advanced single-crystal nickel-based superalloy with a thermal barrier coating, it withstands operating temperatures up to 1600°C and continuous scouring from high-speed exhaust gas. Weighing 0.42kg with a precision-machined airfoil with internal cooling channels, it allows for fast replacement and flaw detection during HPT MRO overhauls. FAA Part 25 certified, it is a key component for HPT operational efficiency.
